2015 Frankfurt Motor Show: Mazda Koeru Concept image
The Mazda Koeru Concept has made its public debut recently during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show.
Mazda is attending the 2015th edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show and one of the premieres of the Japanese brand is the Koeru Concept. The model in question is bringing an evolution of the KODO design language and it is offering room for five passengers. The vehicle has a muscular side profile, a familiar front fascia, sweptback headlights, a large chrome radiator grille and so on.
The rear end of the one-off vehicle is bringing a design similar to the one of the Infiniti QX70, with its twin exhaust pipes and sleek taillights. The Mazda Koeru Concept is riding on large 21-inch alloy wheels and it stands at 4.6 meters long, 1.9 meters wide and 1.5 meters tall, as the company is saying. The car is also bringing the MZD Connect system, a new generation of car-connectivity system.
Mazda also says that the new Koeru Concept is adopting the latest SKYACTIV technologies and this is now “responding linearly to the driver’s operations, providing a true Jinba-ittai driving experience”. The vehicle is said to be quieter and more relaxing thanks to the carmaker’s NVH technology which is improving the noise and vibration path. No details on a possible production version have been announced so far and Mazda isn’t telling us about its performance figures at this point so chances are that we will see it in the near future once more.
