Mazda of USA has officially introduced the 2016 Mazda3 locally, where the model will be offered for sale in late August.

The 2016 model year Mazda3 is getting ready to be offered for sale in the United States as the carmaker has recently announced. The model in question has a base starting price of 17,845 USD and, despite being 600 USD cheaper than before, is bringing some extra equipment which includes the rearview camera, so if you have already bought the 2015 model year, you won’t be that happy while reading this.

“For 2016, the Mazda3 is equipped with a standard backup camera on all models. The popular Mazda3 i Sport kicks off the lineup with more standard features while lowering MSRP[2] by $600 to $17,845 for the i Sport sedan with six-speed manual transmission and $18,895 for the six-speed automatic”, says the carmaker in its press release.

Some extra features found on the 2016 Mazda3 also include the power folding side mirrors, the 16-inch steel wheels with covers, the air conditioning with pollen air filter, the power door locks, power windows with driver’s one-touch up/down feature, the 60/40 split-folding rear seat and so on. You can also have the MAZDA CONNECTTM on the Mazda3 i Sport vehicles with the cruise control, trip computer, keyless entry, push-button start, Bluetooth and a 6-speaker audio system. The Preferred Equipment Package is adding the 16-inch alloy wheels, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, premium cloth sport seats, bright exterior trim, Blind Spot Monitoring system, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and so on.
