Mazda has announced a series of updates to the 2016 Mazda3.
Set to on sale late next month, the entry-level Mazda3 i Sport has a lower base price of $17,845. Despite being $600 cheaper, the model features additional standard equipment including a rearview camera.
The car can also be equipped with a new Preferred Equipment Package which adds automatic headlights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, bright exterior trim and 16-inch alloy wheels. The package also includes premium cloth sport seats, a rear-seat armrest, a Blind Spot Monitoring system and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
The mid-level Mazda3 Touring also gains a new Popular Equipment Package which includes an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a dual-zone automatic climate control system and a Bose audio system. The package also adds a shark fin antenna, a CD player and SiriusXM satellite radio.
