2017 Mazda6 Starting Price Bumped Up to $22,780

The 2017 Mazda6 will be $450 more expensive than last year’s model.

Starting from $22,780 including destination, the 2017 Mazda6 has been updated with the introduction of the Japanese automaker’s exclusive G-Vectoring Control vehicle dynamics technology, which is standard. In addition, the Mazda6 has received added sound absorption refinement and various other improvements.

The standard model comes equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, electronic parking brake, 60/40 split-folding rear seat, push-button starter, 17-inch alloy wheels, a backup camera and the Mazda Connect infotainment. The infotainment system integrates Bluetooth hands-free phone pairing and audio streaming, USB pairing and diagnostic controls in a seven-inch, full-color display.

Available as a standalone option is a six-speed automatic transmission for $1,050.

Upgrading to the Mazda6 Touring will start from $25,030 and adds 19-inch alloy wheels, leatherette seating surfaces, Blind Spot Monitoring System, Rear-Cross Traffic Alert, Mazda Advanced Keyless Entry, dual-zone climate control, rear vents and a six-way power driver’s seat. Newly standard for 2017 on the Touring model are Smart City Brake Support, automatic on/off headlights and rain-sensing wipers.

At the top of the range is the Mazda6 Grand Touring model with a price of $31,530. Standard on the range-topping model are navigation, perforated leather-trimmed seats, a newly upgraded full-color Active Driving Display head-up unit, an eight-way power driver’s seat, a six-way power passenger seat, alarm, paddle shifters, LED foglights and lighted signature grille, dark alloy wheels, rear lip spoiler, Mazda Radar Cruise Control and Smart City Brake Support. New standard features include Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, High Beam Control and memory seat.
