Mazda has revealed the MX-5 Icon, a limited-edition appearance package that will be sold exclusively in the UK.
The build is visually distinguished by a rear spoiler, Soul Red Metallic side mirrors, a front skirt and side stripe decals (not pictured). Gunmetal 16-inch alloy wheels help complete the look, with a choice between Meteor Grey Mica or Crystal White Pearlescent paint.
The Icon boasts an few interior and tech upgrades including leather seats, rear parking sensors, automatic dusk-sensing lights and rain-sensing wipers. The package otherwise matches the SE-L Nav trim, outfitted with Mazda’s 1.5-liter Skyactiv-G engine.
The new MX-5 is the fourth to wear the Icon badge, following previous Icon special editions sold in the UK in 2000, 2005 and 2007. It will make its public debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The MX-5 Icon is slated to arrive in showrooms sometime next year, with prices starting at £20,995 (~$29,800 USD).
