The Japanese company has recently announced a host of upgrades for the Mazda6 sedan and now the automaker has followed up by also reporting on the pricing details.

The starting point is the Sport trim equipped with a six speed manual gearbox, now also packing the Mazda Connect infotainment system among the standard features, costing $22,780 (after $835 destination) or $23,830 when paired to the six speed automatic transmission. These represent a price increase of just $465 and $15 more respectively compared to the 2016 model year. All trims also get new standard amenities such as the G-Vectoring Control, which is designed to deliver a smoother response when cornering, or additional sound deadening material. The Touring model adds Smart City Brake Support, automatic headlights, and rain-sensing wipers as standard, with prices kicking off at $25,050 with a six-speed manual or $26,080 with the automatic – a bigger hike of $1,315 and $265 than last year.

Now the flagship 2017 Grand Touring trim also has new standard goodies, such as Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, High Beam Control, and the adjustable HUD which follows the height of the driver’s seat memory setting. Prices go from $31,530, a good $515 more than the 2016MY. The 2017 Grand Touring trim can also boast the new Premium Package for $2,500, and includes things such as regenerative braking, active grille shutters, seat heaters, a heated steering wheel, Nappa leather seats, LED lighting, a black headliner, improved trim, and upgraded upholstery stitching.
