Which One Of These Cars Deserves To Be The European Car Of The Year?

There are a lot of familiar faces on the list.

Hot off the heels of the nominations for the North American Car and Truck Of The Year, jurors have chosen seven finalists for Europe’s prestigious Car Of The Year award. The initial announcement of roughly 40 vehicles was made earlier this year, but 33 vehicles were cut out, including the Tesla Model X, Ford Mustang, Alfa Romeo Giulia, Infiniti Q30, Toyota Mirai and more. In order to be eligible for the award, cars have to be on sale now or before the end of the year in five or more European markets.

Which One Of These Cars Deserves To Be The European Car Of The Year?

The finalists for the 2016 European Car of The Year award include: Audi A4, BMW 7-Series, Jaguar XE, Mazda MX-5, Opel/Vauxhall Astra, Skoda Superb and Volvo XC90. The voting process has two stages with the winner being announced on February 29, 2016,at the Geneva Motor Show. Peugeot took the title in 2014 with the 308 compact hatchback and Volkswagen with the Passat in 2015.
